In the absence of any joy on the aforementioned, please feel free to pester me over sorting out some of the units that I've
acquired/removed/bought_on_a_whim/whatever over the year on the race cars.
1. A bespoke (modified) AB unit, utilising the usual AB (VFR400?) starter motor. Unit sits in line with the prop (front engine/RWD) at the
differential end, Freelander. Unit includes a bespoke Bailey Morris UJ yoke with the AB ring gear welded and pinned (by Bailey Morris) to the
outerside of the UJ yoke. Obviously a costly thing all put together, but it worked well.
2. A chaindrive unit, composing of a ring gear to mount to your chainwheel and a starter motor. It's not plug and play you'd need to suspend
the starter motor on whatever is holding your differential in place, usually by welding on two lugs.
3. A Formula Jedi chaindive unit, complete. Motorcycle motor mounted on a pivoting cradle, simply mount this around your differential unit. Very
sophisticated, very light, rather nice.
None of the above will be beer money, so please don't ask me for pictures, etc., or express any interest whatsoever if you're after a cheap
solution. There's plenty of rubbish out there to look at instead.
