All the ones we use at work are the same both ends, never seen odd ones.

Well you do get 5/8" threads with 1/2" holes, but they're the only different sized ones I've seen, but I wouldnt say its impossible

If it is for your Flatshifter gear sensor - why don't you just bush the gear lever hole down to 6mm and fit a 6mm bolt through the eye of the rod end?

No. I tried to find some for Rover 75 handbrake compensator upgrades.

You can get ones where the eye die is smaller than the shank but not the other way round and only in some sizes.

i could bush the lever down from 8mm to 6mm as long as it still allows the rod end to sit flush with the lever as the angle of the actuator is just about ok as it is,but its tight.it would be out of line if the bush were to stick out more than 1-2mm

found some at memfast! 12mm long, 8x 1.25mm outer, 6x 1mm internal
