Hi, looking for a BRAND NEW Zetec 2.0 Blacktop Short Block. All I'll be using is the bare block casting and possibly the crank if I can find one so just these parts on their own would be suitable also. Must be unused brand new items though!

I would be interested in what power you was running on your old block ?
My project is the opposite to yours. I am using the focus rs ecu to boost the cheapest zetec engine I can find and see how far I can push it.

Worth checking the local Ford dealership, short blocks with crank rods and pistons used to be available for about £400 if my memory serves me, although beginning to doubt myself after a massive boo boo last night...

Been there Done it.

Was running 435bhp with standard internals. Nothing wrong with it until it burst a coolant hose. No temp gauge in the RS and aftermarket water temp sensors are only good if there's water to measure.
