Ford fit, ET10->20 would be ideal. Anyone got anything?

Cheers, Adam

Good Luck! Join the queue behind me. Very rare to find, unless you get some Caterham wheels, which must be gold plated with what the bring second hand. I'm looking at getting some very light Keizer speedway wheels from the good ol us of a, on deal.

Compomotive went belly up, and the guy who owned it now runs the business from his home, importing what he sells, according to Rimstock. Your only options now are three piece or Revolution(heavy).

Cheers,
Nev.

I have three sets of CXR2. all 13"

2 sets of 6J fronts/7J Rears
1 set of 6.5J fronts/8J rears.

All ford fit.

I want three sets of wheels which are 7J/8.5J but don't want to spend the £1K a set for Force wheels.

So if someone makes me an offer I can't refuse for the 2 sets of 6J/7J I will be a significant way to my £1k for a set of Force Wheels.

Rare? Not in our circles!

Compomotive have been manufacturing CXRs in 6,7 and 8 for a year or so. People who have had them haven't reported any difference in quality to previous. They're out of stock of 8" castings with the next batch due at the end of June (supposedly). They have 6s and 7s in stock if thats what you're after.

I'd prefer 4 8" wheels but could make do with 7" on the front or 9" on the rear.

Jeff,

Does that mean you'd be willing to sell the 6.5J and 8J or are you looking to hang onto those? What offset are they?

I've been offered a pair of 13x9 ET0s which won't quite work for me, but I could forward on details if anyone's interested?

I need the 6.5J/8J set really. 9J is a bit big for me.

You can still buy them new as has been stated.

If I haven't found a set by the time they get castings back in stock then that's the road I'll be heading down.

I'm well aware that new 13"x8" can be had new, but try finding a decent set of Compomotive 8" with a sensible offset, secondhand. Hens teeth and rocking horse manure are more common. We've got one set of Compo's with 16mm offset, which was the biggest they could offer at the time last year.

The 13 x 8 Minilite type wheels being sold as Escort on ebay, have all got unworkable offsets, with most being negative by at least 6~7mm. I need an offset of 20mm+, and preferably 30mm or so, or more. 3 piece is about the only route available.

Cheers,
Nev
