wheelsinsteadofhooves - 2/2/05 at 10:57 AM

in case you hadnt guessed from the heading, i'm after a bonnet to fit my locost!
it's a book chassis, running xflow with downdraught carb, so pref without any cut-outs etc. can colect possibly or will pay for postage.
anyone know if a caterham one will fit? think the 'ham is longer and narrower.
cheers all

Why not make your own its a bit traumatic thinking about it but once your into it its not that bad.

The problem you'll find buying one is that unless youve used a particular scuttle and nose cone you'd still have problems with length,no 2 locosts are the same.

Cheers,
Bob

was thinking of doing my own, but say 30 quid in ali, much agro and time, and still poo job. lolocost for £50, so £20 for less of the above (still poo?), was hoping to get one for less than this to save some pennies.
ive used bodywork from somewhere or other, came with "half completed" kit i bought, but he claims came from "locost" - any leads, looks similar to lolocost?
cheers all

I have a mould from which you can make your own, mates up to Stuart-Taylor nose & scuttle (you can 'lose' the bulge if need be with a bit more work). See pic here:
