Escort quick rack
Sanzomat - 7/5/25 at 03:50 PM

I'm after a quicker rack for my Locost R1. Been thinking for a while it needs to be a bit quicker but a spin on a track day at Anglesey last week has convinced me. I just about caught the first tail slide but couldn't unwind the opposite lock quick enough so fishtailed the other way and all the way around. No harm done but feel I could have caught it with a quicker rack. I currently have a 2.9 (pretty sure its a MK2 escort rack). Anyone got a 2.4 (or even a 2.2) sitting in a shed or garage looking for a home?

I used this one in my build, was cheap enough and new is good for peace of mind.

Just a little story
Many years ago when I did auto grass track racing to get a quick steering we use to incorporate two timing sprocket and chain of a engine it worked very well
I would not recommend doing it on a road car hehe
