Always worth renewing as the old Sierra ones are usually knackered and really sloppy.

Westfield sell them for about £12. Though don't tell 'em what it's for!

The design is 'slightly' different from the Sierra one, you need to ever so slightly modify the way it mounts to your chassis.

HTH,
James

but caterham have the same thing even cheaper

The reson I've got a new sierra one spare is I decided to go for the stiffer 4 speed type one like westfield and caterham use

if you use the 4 speed one you'll need to make up something to hold it (its too narrow for the dax chassis and fits between the rails)
I've got plans for mine, but nothing made yet.....

4 speed one:

sierra/granada one:

and in the dax chassis:

Amazing!

I remember someone else saying that Caterham parts were often cheaper than expected. I was on their website myself a couple of weeks ago and was pleasantly surprised by some stuff.

Still paid £35 for a bit of mesh that makes up the fron grill though!

Cheers,
James
