Engine to Type9 cover plate
Not sure of the official term, but I am after the one of the plates that fits between the Type 9 Box and the engine.
They never made one for the Zetec, so a Pinto or CVH one would do.
I tried making one out of ally and nearly got there – then cut a bit too much off. 

Start again using thin steel sheet, then if you cut too much off ... you can weld it back on again. We had to make our own it wasn't too
difficult, just make one from card first.

Even if you get one it will still need a bit welding on.
Ive made a couple and modified a couple. If you have power tools / air tools its even easier. Mark out all the holes in a sheet of tin and bolt it to
the gearbox then trim off the out side with a nibbler.

My zetec did came with one.. just had to cut a lump out at the bottom where the starter is.
