don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

i emailed my local bike bike shop, who do repairs, honda trained etc. here's their email

Dear Sir,

Given our experience with those we have found it to be advantageous to go to part finder and get another set. You should be able to pick up a bank of carbs for prices of up to £100.00 and this, in the long run, would be the best idea.

Part finder ---09060 300100 fax 09060 300101

My very best wishes

erm, not happy with that. i'm sure a shaft and butterly and fitting won't cost £100...
