wtd: ford cortina brake fluid warning light
i seem to remember my old mk5 i had for about 2 months had a little button under the dash, was like a 12mm push in lamp, and when you pressed it it
lit up.
anyone happen to have one laying about? you never know who has what

I,m old enough to have had both MKIII and MKV cortina's when they were still made, never seen this button.
However 2 door rangerovers did, I would look here.

hmm, i'm sure my mk5 had one, it was sort of just where the dashboard started to curve underneath. just on the right hand side of the steering
wheel. though on mine, i never knew what it was for at the time
any idea what they are usually called? or what model range rover the 2 door ones were?

Cortina's definitely had them. I've used them on both my cars.
