yeah, i didn't know if it was possible to buy it, like you can buy threaded rod etc.
got some side mounted race seats, and i was going to put the lower belt mounts on them. rather than welding seperate things on each side, i thought it
might be stronger if i welded the bar between them

I've got 3/4" dia mild steel bar which I could drill & tap each end to 7/16" UNF.
