Engine crane - folding
Looking for a small / folding engine crane. Anybody have one and reached the end of there project?

Gave one away not long ago Steve, if I had known you could of had it. Block and tackle any good?

That's a shame. It has to be a crane as my garage is made of wood so not enough strenght.

Scaffold Poles for a frame, (Two A frames, and a pair of poles accross the top, plus a bit of bracing to stop it falling over sideways or
collapsing).
then use a chain block. Cheap and controllable.
Also the scaffold poles can be stored easily when dismantled.
Probably not as easy as a crane, but cheap and cheerful.
You could also hire a crane for a weekend.
Or use a pole or some wood and 4 big mates to lift while you guide it in and do the manouvering etc.
Just my 2d's worth.
