pillar drill switch

i have searched high and low,from the deserts of wickes to the jungle that is maplins and even the badlands of my local tool shop to no avail
all i seek is a square green "start" button for my trusty pillar drill,just the green cover is all i desire to make my trusty tool complete again,so anyone got one going spare?

does RS not have what you want? is the one on your drill broken? can you find out the manufacturer of the switch?

is there any way of making one/something. i remember in the 80's my dads drill had one wittled out of a piece of wood, but he was a carpenter!!!

I just rewired my 3phase drill control box and used this
Green Button
and this
Red Button

the switch itself is not broken,just the green bit flew off one day never to be seen again

The switch on my Screwfix drill broke so I joined the wires at the back and used the wall socket to switch it on and off.

what size of square, have probably got some photocopier start buttons on some knackered copier displays that I can have a look at.

it,s about 19mm square with a round prodding thingy in the middle that is about 8mm round,i can get proper measurements morra if you need them
