WANTED RV8 gearbox

Hunting around but no joy as yet. There must be loads of LT77 gearboxs but all on Fleabay are the other side ogf the country. Somewhere in the SW corner would be nice. Yours Hopfully Steve

Hi,
Can't help with supplying a gearbox but I just wanted to make sure you are aware that the LT77 isn't your only (or indeed your best) choice. There is a later gearbox called the R380 which is compatible and was redesigned to a higher spec. I don't have very many details about the R380 but thought you should at least be aware of it. Not to put you off the LT77 - I have a Vitesse spec LT77 myself and it's good.

Edit: This site might be of interest as it discusses the history of the different boxes. Linky

Cheers,
Craig.
