Renault UN 1 Gearbox Wanted
Hi all,
Looking for a Renault UN 1 Gearbox from a 21 turbo or Alpine or something similar. let me know if you can help.

Have you considered the Audi transaxle box fitted to Passats etc
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

There is an ebay add selling Porsche 924 transaxles for £95

Or a Porsche 944 for £150

Or the closest I have found to your UN1 is a type 367 00 I believe as used in the Renault Alpine but 4 speed box for £150

May be a cheap way to go?

You want the UN1/013 box as it has the strongest shaft and better gear ration / diff. I've got a spare, but want to keep it. I can guarantee
you'll find one on the link I gave above.
