wtd manuels on mgb gt

Hi all my little brother is restoring an mgb gt with his girlfriends father but he knows little about the vehicle and seen as his 17 birthdays cropping up next week i recon i should get him some detailed manuels on engine and anything else he will struggle with. anyone got any manuels in half decent nic i could possibly buy or where and what to get him as i know theirs the haynes manuel but is it any good.

The haynes manual is ok for basic maintenance but if your planning on rebuilding anything then you'll want the Haynes restoration manual. The restoration manual is brilliant, details how to rebuild every part.

I've got the workshop manual in PDF format - you can have a copy on CD/DVD if that's any good? I've never owned an MGB so have no idea how I have this!

I have the Haynes and the Moss parts manual and the Moss tuning manual
The Moss books have engineering diagrams of every part for the MGB and are so much better than a Hayne the Haynes however tells you how to do it

Cheers everyone going to give the haynes restoration a go will keep you posted on his opinion and if needing other manuals as engineering diagrams may be useful.
