WTD Merrell UK customer services postal address

I have a complaint to put in writing to Merrell UK regarding a pair of their waterproof shoes that are not waterproof, well one is and ones isn't!

I have had them for 18 months but that's beside the point, they have had little use and having been a long time merrell buyer I feel I have been let down.

I could email which is their only publicised method of contact but I feel that a paper letter will be less quickly dismissed as it required a little more effort to reply to me.

I can not find any HQ/Customer services postal address on the net.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Col

... a letter can be 'lost' (shredded), and unless you're paying five quid a hit for Special Delivery, then there is no record.

I'd email. It's fast and there's an electronic record of your conversation.

After a catastrophic leakage into a 1 week old pair of £70 "other brand" boots from Blacks, SWIMBO just bought a £120 pair of Merrells and these appaar to have leaked in heavy rain
We've just dried them out and will be putting them out for an overnight "bucket test" after I've finished typing

If they pass we'll wear test them again, if they fail they'll be going back too, soiI watch with interest

Merrell quality used to be good but recently gone down hill. Just get your money back.

My approach* shoes knackered my achilles before I modified them with a Stanley knife. Never had shoes that had caused a proper injury before.

The easy way to tell if they're leaking is to fill them with water. If they're empty in the morning, then they leak! This is how manufacturers used to test leaky walking boots. Back when I worked for Blacks, we never returned any Merrell shoes. There was a deal in place where Merrell simply credited them at the store managers discretion. All I had to do was remove the label from inside and send that back. I always found "waterproof" approach shoes to be limited in there use anyway. To be truely waterproof, they have to have a membrane liner, which in warm weather causes your feet to sweat like hell. I always went for the cheaper non-waterproof equivalent and a pair of sealskin socks. For summer use far more comfortable with regular walking socks. Just my opinion obviously
