Wanted - 2.8 Ford v6 to Series 3 Landrover adaptor

Yeah this is a long shot but you never know what folk have kicking about...

There use to be a bellhousing adaptor that let you fit the 2.8 siamese port V6 found in capri's/granada's etc to the series 3 gearbox to swap out the sluggish 2.25 petrol

Anyone have one or know where to get one now?

Or even an adaptor for a similar engine, excluding the rover V8 as that is too big

Thanks

the 8v & 24v 2.9 V6's should fit the same bellhousing/adaptors as the 2.8 (they are different from the essex and duratec ones though)

but you could always make an Owelly style DIY adaptor: linky

Could give Steve Parker a ring.

They used to do this stuff. It
says it's now discontinued but got to be worth a phone call.
