WTD : "Sausage" Style Air Filter (Pipercross)

I'm after a "sausage" style air filter for an R1 BEC.
I don't have the room under the bonnet for the original R1 airbox, so I need something a little smaller in height.
I've got about 3" of clearance between the intake and the underside of the bonnet.
I've seen pipercross ones which other people tend to use - they're just a bit expensive.

I've got a 2003 R1 5PW engine and I can fabricate a new intake plate if the holes aren't spot on.

Anyone got anything?

Standard air box will fit turn it 180* and you will have to cut the bottom slightly to clear engine cradle and extend intake temp sensor wiring I have done it on my r1 Indy and fits under standard bonnet fine

When I needed one and failed to find second hand I found the cheapest place was GBS.

Thanks guys - chicade, can you take a picture of your air box please. Someone else on here said exactly the same thing, but it just doesn't look like it will fit - and thanks for the link.

I have a 'square' style pipercross PX600 in stock that was a return (its still unopened) that should be under 3" I think. I could do this and a blank baseplate for £60 posted. I also have R1 specific baseplates in stock (for R1 carb models) - this plus filter £75 posted.

U2U if you want any of the above.
