WTB: finished or near complete project

Hi,

I'm a newbie looking for either a 'close to finished' project or a complete one that someone might not want anymore (it seems some people want to start a new one as soon as they finish one!)

im after one as a secondary car, something that might be some fun on a trackday.

I have a garage, but its not a 'working' garage really. I normally have a supra parked in it and theres -zero- room to walk around it so i dont think i could attempt a full build of my own. in that space.

thats why i was thinking an abandoned project might be doable. if the major parts are in i could possibly manage.. or wheel it onto the drive to work on it.

Im in the South manchester area, if anyone nearby has anything suitable, or any advice/recommendations.
my budget isnt huge so wont stretch to a factory built car..

also, ive never driven a car like this before, is there anywhere I could perhaps try one for size? i've got long legs and have trouble in small cars

apologies for the vague questions, and thanks for your time!

-Rog

My Avon will be up for sale in the next few weeks. 2ltr Pinto with new twin carbs and fast cam and I wouldn't say it is slow.
I'm up Dewsbury, but it's only 45 min hop up the M62.
Asking price will be around the £6 mark.
