Mk 2 steering arms

Just had our new ( to us ) kit down at local garage as MOT is up, we are hoping to get to Stoneleigh in it.

However he has spotted a potential problem in that someone has ground away a decent sized chunk of metal from the rear edge which effectively weakens the whole thing, presumably it has had massive calipers on at some time.

The rest of the stuff on the fail shee t is do able but this is an advisory. The guy says he wouldn't want to drive too far in it himself, he has tested loads of cars andwe respect his opinion.
This is what I'm looking for ( both sides)but don't need new or golden plated ones

Cheers

Mike

hmm I'd still be perfectly happy to use them tbh, especially on a lightweight car. Try to snap that and you'd rip off the wishbone first

The steering arm runs straight through middle of pic the rear nut appears silver above the rusty caliper bolt head, the reflected threads of the rear bolt should not be visible!
