Radiator
In a fit of stupidity I have just had the jack slip off the front rail of the car and put an interesting large U in the rad.
It measures 490mm x 330mm (or at least did measure) with top and bottom entry and exit with a bleed valve on the top. It was attached to the car via
a right angle plate each side with 4 bolts. The car is a Phoenix.
Anyone know where I can get a replacement ?

You could just switch to a polo/VW rad. The commonly used Polo rads are...
1.1 polo rad 380x322
1.3 polo rad 430x322
SerckMarston part No's 2719517 (1.1) and 2719819 (1.3)
Those are both narrower than what you've got but there are wider ones in Golf's. They are the same layout though. I can check tommorow for
a better fitting one.

Each tank has 4 mounting boss' moulded on them 2 each side. Not very clear in this picture but you can just see one boss where the ally angle is
mounting the fan to the rad'.

There's also 2 pegs on the bottom of the rad.

So you have an adaptor plate which mounts the Polo rad to the Fury ? As you can see in the picture of my knackerd one it has two plates which bolt
to the car on a mount.

No, the polo 1.3 rad fitted the mounting plates on my chassis (just had to file one of the 4 holes). The ally' angle is just to mount the fan
and is between the chassis mount and the rad on the same bolts.
Are your measurements the core size (thats what the makers list) or the overall size?

Overall size. Looking at my wrecked one does the 1.3 Polo have the same mounting ?

Not exactly but similar. It'd be easy to make an adapter. On the same face as yours it has 2 boss's on each tank.

hi there,
I only just noticed this post.
Here is a useful
site for radiator pictures. You can see which one matches your dimensions and maybe even order from the site (as they are
cheap).
Matt
p.s. good choice of car.
