Bonnet catches - wanted
I'm giving up on the dzeus fasteners on my GRP bonnet as they keep coming undone - even tank-tape over them doesn't secure them for most
runs.
Anyone know where I can buy the rubberised SVA over-centre catches at a decent price?
Plenty available from the usual suspects but, call me tight, I just can't get my head around paying £7.50 a catch for a component that must have
cost pence to manufacture!
Thanks in anticipation, Pewe

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

The Dzeus fasteners are usually pretty reliable. Perhaps you need to use a shorter version to give a tighter fastening?

Surely this thread is upside down? Generally people would want to replace the SVA catches with Dzus!

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
PhilJ you might be right - existing ones are quite long so maybe it's a case of shorter ones to achieve a tight fit.
Off to the garage to try some of the shorter ones I have in stock - now where the b*ggery b*llocks did I put those????
Cheers, Pewe
