Milling work required
Guys,
I have used David AKA Flak Monkey to do some work in the past and it was first class.
I dont *think* he has milling faclilities and i am looking at the possibilities of getting 'V8' milled to the depth of about 2mm in a bit
of 4mm thick ally plate.
I would need the edges of the lettering chamfered so thay are not sharp enough to cut fingers etc.
Plate will be approx 150mmx150mm and the V8 approx 100mmx80mm
In addition to this i may want an oval milled into the same plate above the V8 approx 70mm x 35mm.
If David can not offer this service is there anyone on here who can?

No, sorry cant help with milling at the moment
You will need to find someone with a CNC mill to do what you need.
Might be worth a look in your local yellow pages for a local engineering/fabrication place. They will likely be able to help out.
Cheers,
David

Does it need to be set in or raised "V8"

If you realy get stuck, I may be able to give it a go.
Have a DIY CNC mill/drill at home.
