Flat side oval tube

Evening all,

I need to remake my front wishbones as I've spotted a bend in one of mine. I'd like to make them out of flat sided oval tube. Does anyone know of any suppliers? I've looked at Ralt, but they only do the aero stuff and apparently it comes at a price.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

MK Sportscars do oval tube for their wishbones

Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

Any oval tube will do, it does not have to be flat sided.

Plenty of stuff about in steel.

I think a search for steel extension stockists will help.

Thanks for the replies so far. I've had a look at a couple of steel stockists and not really had much luck to be honest. I'll have a scout around again tomorrow, see what I can find. I'll probably try and give MK a ring and see what they can do for me.

Thanks again,
Chris.

The question to ask is why would you want to make your bones out of flat sided oval tube?

DO NOT PUT ON KNOB OR BOLLOCKS!

Probably because he likes them. I got some from MK when Martin was still there and it works fine.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

ADR do lovely end fittings for their 30 x 15 oval tube. The only issue is that the tube is only 1.5mm wall so it might not be deemed suitable for an arm that is supporting a lover shock mount and the force that comes with that.
