never used them before, but I think they developed from lolocost (aka robinhood) which I did use years ago, although I could be wrong.

Do it right and fit a proper spherical bearing. It will be much nicer to drive.

Spherical bearing is definitely the way to go, however he will still need the part in the photo, to fit the shaft to the bearing
