Westfield Xtr wanted

Anyone selling a Westfield Xtr?

Trying to convince my mate to take the plunge into the kitcar / track car world, but he has high standards and likes the Xtr

One for sale on race cars direct. Worth think if he wants a XTR2 (bike engine) or XTR4 (car engine, 1.8T Audi iirc). An alternative could be a MK GT1 or a Spire GTR. The XTR are pretty rare, potently only a hand full mode so only come up for sale occasionally. There are road going Radical as well which are worth keeping an eye out for.

Another “kit car” worth looking at is the Ginetta G40, road going ones are available and some come with a 2.0L Duratec with a sequential box.

He has seen that one, but the £20,000 will take some convincing.
Looked as Spires and Radicals and might go that route but preference is XTR 2

I’d be surprised if you could find one for much less, they are rare and all were factory built iirc. Radicals will be similar price if not a bit more. Spire and MK should be nearer the £10k mark for a decent, well sorted one. You may need to wait for one to pop up for sale though.

Thought they were about 17k plus
I like the Spire tbh.
We can see what pops up

There's a Spire GTR with Audi 1.8 turbo up for £11,500 on FB - Kit Cars And Parts For Sale/Wanted UK

Not road registered

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Thanks. Seen that one, but he is a biker and wants to go bike engine route

If your mate is a biker than this might be a good (and relatively cheap) way into kit cars -

TR1ke's on facebook -

Otherwise there are several ZX10, Hyabusa, R1, ZX1400 sevenesque cars available on the market, including a well sorted ZX10R MNR Vortex on this site.

The closest to a bike in terms of seveneque models could be the Striker, one of the smaller and arguable one of the best handling cars around. There is a nice (but slightly overpriced imo) one on ebay at the moment with an R1 engine.

I like it. I have sent him the link
I think he is still wanting a westfield
Why are they a lot lighter than the spire?
Are they any better or worse?
