Zetec 2L Tuning Components for sale

Zetec 2L Tuning Components

From a 2L Zetec which made 212bhp on Anderson Racing Engines dyno using these parts (plus head work). All in top condition with less than 4000 miles use:

1 pr 305 hydraulic cams 285 degrees duration:
These are a custom profile specified by Anderson Racing Engines & ground by Piper. They are a bit more hairy than the Piper “Ultimate Road 285” cams. They are specifically for hydraulic tappets & followers. They do not require pocketed pistons, but should not be fitted with standard valve springs. Heavy duty valve springs are recommended. Also have a pair of standard cam pulleys for free with the cam shafts.

1 set matched hydraulic tappets, buckets etc.
These are the ones used with the above cams so matched to each cam lobe. Numbered so you can see which one is matched to each lobe.

1 2.0L flywheel and clutch assembly
Lightened flywheel by Anderson Racing engines (not steel flywheel).
Heavy duty clutch & cover.

1 set std size std con rods and pistons with competition rod bolts
Standard Ford con rods & pistons mildly lightened and balanced by Anderson Racing Engines. Rods fitted with heavy duty competition rod bolts. Pistons have rings but really should be re-ringed before fitting.

1 set heavy duty single valve springs
Heavy duty valve springs recommended for wilder cam profiles.

Would prefer to sell all / most of the items together best price!! But will split if enough interest received.

2.0L flywheel and clutch assembly

On the Piper web site (page 18 of their catalogue) the retail price of the similar items is as follows:
• “Ultimate Road” 285 cam shaft pair £395
• Hydraulic follower set £240
• Single valve spring set £105
Subtotal new cost of cam components £740

On the Burton web site the retail price of similar items is:
• Competition rod bolts £46 set
• Standard cast pistons £48 each
• Standard cast con rods £40 ish each
Subtotal new cost of engine bottom end components £398

• Clutch assembly £75
• Standard Flywheel £50 ish
Subtotal new cost of transmission components £125

So the TOTAL new price of ALL components would be £1263

If you are interested in getting them in big lumps I’d offer you a much better price as follows:
• All 3 of the cam components £350 (ie 47% of new price)
• All 3 bottom end engine components £150 (ie 38% of new price)
• Both transmission components £60 (ie 48% of new price)
• Everything together £500 (ie 39% of new price)
