Can someone machine a part for me!!!

Hi

Basically I have bought a steering wheel with no fixing holes in it that I have drilled and attached my snap off boss to.

Unfortunatley the snap off boss is smaller than the boss the is already on my column so i cannot bolt the two together.

Can somone in the midlands machine me a round piece of ally with a diameter of 117mm and a thickess of about 4mm or slighty thicker with do. I can drill my own holes in it for the pcd's of the two bosses, but I havent the machinery or the materials to make the piece.

I can pay cash before or on collection!

Thanks

Shaun

if I had themachinery I would do it but do not dispair.

sounds like you need an adapter so you can drill two circles of holes for the differennt pcd.

I have something similar on mine made from 2 mm (? approx) mild steel.

It doesn;t need to be ultra price; you can make this yourself i you have a drill press. drill holes in circle with progressibely larger bit until the holes choin up or you file them so they join up = chain drilling.

same on outer.

then file to shape.

takes a bit of time but doable without specialist machinery.

see my post about trigger wheel - contact the bloke and I am sure he can laser cut you a disc for about a tenner.
