big air compressor (3 phase)
I'm after a biggish air compressor for the unit, somewhere between 6 and 14 hp, or around 5 to 8 KW motor, 25 to 40CFM output, either piston
type or, more preferably, hydrovane.
Needs to be in good nick and within 150 mile radius of leicester.
unless its exceptional, please don't point me at ebay stuff, really fed up with looking at piles of overpriced sh1t on there now

Have you tried www.compressorman.co.uk
I bought a compressor from him last year, and the service / lead time / installation and price was spot on.
The one I got was new, but I know he does refurbished stock, rather than knackered second hand.

funnily enough, he's only 20 miles from me and I planned to call him in the morning.
more than I wanted to spend, but if he can do a used 40 cfm hydrovane for around a grand or thereabouts then I think we'll go for it
