Mondeo / Focus ecu and key wtd

Any of you guys broken one of the above for its engine ?

I am looking for a cheap 2.0 ecu and master key to play with. The wiring would be a bonus but I can pick them up.

I can strip and re wire a pre pats loom to run stand alone with ease but would like to see if I can wire a pats ecu to do the same. If I can I may look into maping one as a bit of a hobby.

Zetec bench running

cheers

I have an ECU for a 2.0 P reg mondeo that I was just about to stick on the bay, but wanted to keep the key/loom etc for ignition! Do you need the actual key than went with the ECU?

U2U me if you cant get any others and I might strip the keyholder etc - I'll just use another from the scrappies, as I just need a key and wiring.

Regards
Hugh

Ecu is no good with out the chip on a pats ecu.

As to wiring the antena is seperate from the lock. I can get them bits from the scrapie any way.

If you are selling the ecu and have the chip from the red key I would be interested.

cheers

Do you just need the red key and ECU then - not the switch part attached to the column? I 'think' I have a non chipped key too, so I could keep that for my ignition key and you could have the red one and ECU - I'll check when I get in tonight

Ok, you can have the ECU EEC-V, red key, ring aerial thing+ about 1m wire, the ford multi way plug and loom as far as the big square connector - but be aware that I have cut off some wire for the temp transmitter as I waill be using them. Hows £20 sound + whatever actual parcel post costs sound?
