Wanted: Type 9 Gearbox Mount and gear stick

The mount on my gearbox has a huge split in the rubber? Is it possible to replace just the rubber or is a whole new mount needed?
Also, has anyone got a gearstick for a type 9 they want to part with?
Cheers Guys Jas Gray

i found caterham or westfield (i forget which...) cheapest for gearbox mounts. about £15 mine was.

i would say a whole new mount is needed, they are bonded together.

Cheers Blake, I had a fair job to pull it out of there... At least a new one will be nice and shiney?

like i say, mine was about £15, must have been from caterham coz i still get emails from them.

yeah, they're a tight fit on the gearbox.
they're not very shiney though if you want shiney awesomeness, rally desighn sell some good looking ones, and plenty on ebay, but £50-60

Is there anything available with longer wings?
The mount sits on top of my frame, but the bolt holes are no where near the frame, so would either need to make a plate and weld it in, or get one with wider wings

I've got a nice rose-jointed quickshift type 9 lever (I think it's a Quaife one, might be Tran-X though) that I don't need.

It's identical to one of these, and I think it's the 210mm straight one, but mine comes with a nice ally gearknob as well:

£40 delivered to your door. Pics available in a couple of days if you want.

---Edited to add I think I have a gearbox mount as well if you want it - standard sierra one, second hand but functional. Free if you buy the gearstick!
