Escort Mk3, 4, and 5 parts should fit as long as you get all the lot. Easier than trying to find the Cortina stuff, just get down the scrapyard.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

The 8" Sierra 1.6 drums on the back of my car are coming off as soon as I get the 10" conversion refurbed. The part number for the drums
is listed the same as Cortina 3,4,5 but not sure if the backplate has the same mounting pattern.
10" backplates are currently in the electrolysis bath as we speak but not sure when the spanners will be coming out... in a hurry like?
Got a disk/caliper setup you would swap?
Cheers,
Steve

Cheers, I didn’t know either could be fitted. Unfortunately the scrappy round here are very poor for such old cars, been many years since I’ve seen
anything that old in there.

What I was up to, was fitting sierra brakes to the cortina axle, using adaptors for the callipers. Only managed to fit the wheels last night and found
it wasn’t going to work
My only other option I could try is to fit wheel spacers, but I’m not sure if the wheels will still fit under the arches, something to check tonight
also.
I think it’s the same bolt pattern (two closer than the other two) I can check tonight as I have sierra bearing carriers in the house somewhere and I
can also check the distance between the wheel flange and the backplate. I even bought new disks damn, so those need re-homing too. I’ve got
reasonable but untried sierra callipers, think their fine and I’ve cleaned and painted them red
I'd be quite happy to swap the lot for a complete drum setup so I can get the car on the road. I'd need pretty much everything for the
rear brakes.
