WANTED - URGENT! m8 nyloc nut - LEFT hand thread
I bought a rose joint to make a compensator for my escort handbrake cables - as per my sva fail sheet.
Problem is I didn;t enage my brain prior to ordering and ordered a LEFT hand thread... what a PLONKER!
Now I have a very nice little compensator which I can't secure to the handbrake lever as I don't have any nylocs that are left handed.
My SVA is on Tuesday and Monday is a bank holiday...
I am in liverpool, but work in manchester - will happily travel whereever I need to over the weekend in the north west to collect.
Sounds daft but I'll even pay handsomly for one nyloc nut!
Still annoyed with myself for noth checking the listing properly... ARG!

sorry can't help, but it may be easier to find a right hand rose joint (if that is suitable)

I agree that you'll have more luck looking for a rose joint. Fingers crossed someone local to you may have one spare that they may be able to
lend for a week or so.

I could weld it... but its a bit rough, and I was really pleased with it being well made to this point.
If the RH rosejoint doesn't turn up I'll have to weld it, I have no choice!

Rally Design sell them. Look in the rose joint bit of the web shop. Be a push to get one in time but if you phoned first thing in the morning it might
arrive Sat' by first class.
Otherwise you'll find them in B+Q between the hens teeth and rocking horse dropings.

If you get absoluteley stuck I've got an M8 left-hand nut on my gearchange rod. It's not a Ny-lock but if it's only being used as
lock nut against something else it souldn't mater. Only problem is I was planning to use the car on monday so might mean an evening trip over to
Manchester.

That is exceptionally kind Adrian, but I'll just weld the lh rose joint to apeice of metal secured to the handbrake mech, that I can throw away
when the correct rose joint arrives. It won't be as pretty. But it will do the job for sva.
Very kind though mate, it is apprieicated.

I'm sure I have a right hand male M8 joint in the shed if you are desperate.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
