WTD: wiper arms and blades

... for mini motor. I am guessing 8" blades?

So, anyone got some lying around, or any suggestions of where the get them?

Also, what type of fitting am I looking for to fit on the Mini spindle? It seems like there are several different types.

...and what angle on the wiper arms?

EDIT: this is for my seven, not a Mini . Thanks to MakeEverything for the links provided, but they seem to only have stuff for actual Minis.

TIA

Simon

or more expensively (on occasions)

Moss are very good because of their exploded diagrams which allows you to identify the correct part. They also cater for Triumph and MX5.

You can use Mini wiper arms if you get the adjustable length ones. Then you can pull out the actual arm bit and cut it down to size. Where the arm attaches on to the wiper there are various attachment types (blade or spoon are the main ones). Doesn't really matter though I prefer spoon as it gives a bit of wiggle at the wiper end.

I used 8" blades. You can get them from various place including direct off Tex automotive. Infact IIRC they do the arms as well...

Or

and

http://www.motoringclassics.co.uk/adjustable-wiper-arm/p2065

obviously you can have right park or left park arms. I made the mistake of getting the wrong ones first time round doh!

You could try Premier Wiring (on ebay, also have a internet shop somewhere), I cut down their standard arms (drilled and re-riveted) and used there flat blades (I needed 7"!!)...

linkys:

arms

blade

GBS 8" wiper blades cost me 4 quid a pair at Detling. Arms were from an MGB: cost me 5 of your pounds and I cut them down to size and resprayed.
