WTD Sierra wiper + light stalk switch and wiring diagram
As subject. I previously cut off the wiper stalk because I had an aeroscreen... now I have a full windscreen I need wipers
I am not sure which year Sierra it is from, but here is a pic.
Also, can anyone tell be the wiring layout i.e. which pin does what?
TIA

U2U back
btw, does anyone have details of the "earlier" and "later" type switches? I think one type needed relays, the other not, but I
have no clue which one I have got.
I saw reference soemwhere to "87BG" type - looks like mine is "90BG", going by the code on the switch???

Earlier is 82BG that doesn't strictly need relays to function but is better with.
87 and 90 BG are later switches, and work by switching the negative of relay switching circuits to earth so you need relays for main and dip.

I think there are lots of wiring diagram s inthe NW Hoodies site gained through links page on RHOCAR which cover most permutations.
