16" shocks
I thought id posted this, this morning but it obviously didnt work.
Does anyone have some 16" adjustable shocks with sperical joints, suitable for 1.9" springs they dont need.
thought id ask here first to try and save some money
ETA - i only need 2 for the front. Should give me more than the 3/4" clearance i have atm

Hmmm joking aside, how much more than the norm is the weight at the front?
Reason I’m asking is my old Mirage Countach had 4 spax coilovers at the rear (iirc as per the real car) to cope with the weight. I wonder if normal
coilovers like protec etc would be up to the job of damping the suspension on you car or would they be prone to overheating the oil inside?

The normal engine of the jag weighed 240 KG but i have taken off the power steering pump and AC pump so should be around the 200kg mark now. I think
RV8's are about 160?.
I dont really have room for 2 shocks.

no I wasn't suggesting 2 shocks per side but I was more wondering if the dampers would be rated for the extra weight. But like you say its only
an extra 20kgs per side, which is not very much. So it sounds like its not an issue
