I know its not A series, but if you struggle, ive got a 1300 + .040" Crossflow if it comes to it.

A Series were easily available and cheap on ebay when i was doing the mini.....

Kindest Regards,

I will talk to a friend of mine, he has just removed a standard 998 and fitted a K series lump

Will let you know if he wants rid of the old lump.

Ive got one but its in our mini and the other half would kill me if i removed it, she loves her car as it is

I've got a 1380 bore block, semi short stroke crank, cooper s rods and cast omega piston set going if you're interested in something a bit different. Due to having a shortened stroke it will rev to about 9K and has 1338cc. It wouldn't hurt to give it a rebuild/refresh, so may be what you're after. It might be more than you want though.

I've got an A series engin and gear box available. It is a 1000. It only had about 40 to 50k Miles when it was swapped out for a 1275. It is pretty much complete except for the starter and radiator.

The engine is in Bedford. Let me know whether you're interested.
