well toying with the idea, i'm open to suggestions for a full body car with hardtop but less than £1500 part build

I knew the bloke that ran Nova for a while in Yorkshire.

Before you buy one, make sure you can fit in it, without the floor lowered they are unuseable for normal sized people.
