How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I don't think you will get a 4 position toggle switch.

You can get them, but escapes me where ive seen them and what they are used for....
Youll definitely get a rotary switch like it, as the type used in military Landrovers.
Kindest Regards,
Richard.

Yes, rotary would be more "appropriate"!

Only place I have seen was on industrial cooker hoods and similar fan type applications for multi speed control.
Why do you need off on on on, for the little car you just need off on on/return as go straight to ignition and all the way for the starter motor as
well.
No point making extra work unless you are installing a radio?

No, it was going to be for my lights so i had a switch for main beam but im going to try and use a latching relay and a momentary switch i have in the
garage (just got to work out how to wire it)

Or failing that, a fan speed controller switch from a fan coil unit? Its not a toggle though.

Richard.
