Wanted Pierburg carb from 1.8 Pinto (Sierra)

Just thought it worth another try.

Not after the a carb from the CVH but from the Pinto, Pierburg type according to book part number 85HF 9510 AB

Basically after the jets from the carb so generally knackered one should be fine. I get the impression most exchange them for Webers so are probably binned years ago.

Hi Ash

Is he not in France? Postage would be a bit.

Will send a message if nothing closer comes along.

Adrian.

P.s. just managed to pick up the magazine, good article. Even I got a mention near the front of the mag!

Hi Adrian
Yes I am in France,
And yes I do still have a carb knocking about in the uk.

If you get compleatly stuck I could probably help you.

What exactly are you looking for?
I could probably get my wife to drop it over to Ash in a couple of weeks for him to pull apart.

Just sent you a pm on Haynes!

I need two pcs sometimes to watch both.

I am after the jets from it.

This is leading on from the rolling road session I had, where it leans out at 4,300 rpm under full load.

reading the book the rest of the engines had a 130 jet where as the CVH a 105.

I have a spare carb I have fitted and when the weather improves I will try it out, but if fault still there want to up the jet sizes in the secondary port.

It may be the fact I have a lot less restriction with the air filter.

Adrian

p.s. If I could find out the hole sizes for the jets I would drill some out!

p.ps. The article was Chris's idea, not mine.
