WTD/Borrow carb synchronometer
Has anyone got a carb synchronometer/balancer I could borrow please? I need to balance the throttle bodies on my Zetec.

afraid not my invention more info hereDIY U Tube
i filled mine with light 5W oil so offered bit of damping and didnt need to be so tall. idealy needs two people because if ballance is miles out to
start with risk of sucking all the oil out,
Principal is connect one end of tube to datum cylinder (end with throttle cable connection) and other end to second cylinder, start engine watch
levels of oil, (turn of engine if getting to high or adjust quickly!!) adjust butterfly balance screws till liquid levels same both sides, turn off
engine, leave one end connected to cylinder 1 move other to cylinder 3 and repeat, again cylinder 4. generally once ballanced tick over will raise,
adjust main tick over and repeat to confirm ok, may require further minor adjustments again. one main thing to remember is turn off engine before
disconnecting any end of the U tube.

I have a set of 4 gauges as used on bikes.
They were brand new, left in my garage by a bloke that wanted to do the job here.
Then he sold the bike.
Said he didn't need them any more. (shrug)
