type 9 housing bolts
hi,
can anyone help me.....
I was about to bolt a bellhousing to my type 9 as its my run in gearbox, but i have found the standard bolts that are for bolting it to the Gbox are
too short.
Anyone know where i can get longer ones as they are nto standard metric thread by the looks, seems finer.
thansk in advance

Type 9 box bolts are either standard M12 or are 1/2" UNF if I remember rightly.

Get yourself a set of threads gauges (£3 or £4 ) and measure the bolts you have . Likely to be 12mm x1.5?

Mmm I'm sure mine were 12mm fine pitch and a bugger to find locally. There is a guy on ebay flogs them
Ask him if he can supply the length you need.

If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.
