Personally I would always go for a car engine over a bike, but I think if my only choice was bike or Pinto I would definately go bike engine, being a
more modern engine.
If I had a choice of car engine it would be a Zetec or Duratec
Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

If you're going to be at Detling come in & see us at Essex Kitcar club, there are guys with car & bike engines so we can talk you
thro' the pros & cons - I'm not sure how easy it will be to get in & out at Detling when the show is on, but I'm sure one of
the lads would take you for a squirt (Or, looking at the weather forecast should that be "take you for a bath!"
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Remember that the IVA needs a reverse gear, and thats expensive on a Bike Engined car.
You can always put the bike engine in later on, as a winter project. Especially if you already have the pinto engine and a box.
Just my 2d's worth.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
