the big problem at this time of the year is that the air is too cold, and the unit will frost up, or not work, or more expensively will need a heater
to warm the air before it's passed over the cold unit to condense the water out,... not a simple solution I'm afraid.
I had a £80 B&Q special and it works ok if the air temp is above 15C, once it's below that it stops working on a frost warning. Expensive
units include a heater to stop this happening,...
