Wtd: Oil Fill Plug for Ford English Axle
Bit random, but if anyone has one knocking around for the price a beer.
Lost mine on the way to france last summer and have been making do with the nearest metric equiv since but it doesnt seal fully and is yet another
source of oil on the drive.
Otherwise does anyone know what thread it is?

IIRC, its 1/2" bsp. Any plumbers/diy place should have one.
I've found a pdf file that lists all rwd Escorts/Cortinas etc as having 14mmx1.5mm drain/fill plugs. Pretty sure mine has 1/2"bsp
fitted!

Never measured, being in france with limited tools and even more limited french anything remotely like fitting was gratefully accepted from said small
citroen garage in sancerre! i will dig one out from the kit of plumbing fittings on the narrowboat.
