Zetec multi groove alternator pulley

Ive just picked up a Bedford rascal alternator & have realised that when i gave a friend my standard zetec alternator, i didnt take the pulley off

Does anyone have a zetec multi groove pulley laying around getting in the way ??

The rascal alternator has the single V type so i need to swap it for a multi groove type.

Cheers - Andy

I don't think the alternator shafts are the same size so the zetec pulley won't fit. It will have to be a later Suzuki one that uses multi-rib and the same alternator, a custom made pulley, search the local alternator repairer for a suitable pulley or sell on the one you have and buy something that does have a mult-irib pulley already on.

I have heard that some people on here have fitted a sleeve on the shaft to take up the gap, I have access to a lathe so was thinking of going down this route.

Anyone have bad experience of sleeving the alternator shaft to take a pulley with a bigger centre bore ??

Cheers
