Locost Baseball Cap
Where can I get a Locost baseball cap?
Do they exist?
If they don't exist and I had some made up (I'm a designer) - does anyone else want one?
Embroidered caps usually require a minimum order of 25 or 50 units to bring them in under £10 each.
If I get 25 names, I'll do it.
(Not for profit - either I produce/sell them at cost, or we (interested parties) could agree to add £5 to each hat (£125) and contribute the profits
to the upkeep of this website.)
Thoughts?

If you get a good quality cap, that fits us 'big' heads, I would be interested.
Although, the Dutton Ski and Peru hats are brilliant.

Have a look at these:
http://www.promocaps.co.uk/promotional_caps/baseball_caps.html
I need votes on the design for basis of the caps.
I'd suggest one of these five:
1. Tri-Coloured
2. Tri-Colour with Piping
3. Tyre Tracks
4. Tachometer (on brim)
5. Checks (chequered race flag look)
(I'll design/borrow a suitable Locost graphic/logo - maybe use a 750mc logo on the back, with permission.)
Get 50 made up with embroidered graphics, approx £4 each.
Sell them to you lot at £10, profit goes to Chris for the upkeep of the Locost Builders site.

Because the Locost racing series is run by the 750mc?

Then I would not be interested as I don't race anymore.

Then I wouldn't put it on? (Was just thinking out loud ...)
I'm putting the final design to the vote, anyone who wants a hat votes for the final design combination.
It's cheaper to just have the one Locost logo on the front of the hat - the inverted 7 would probaly work best.
HELLO?!
All other readers of this post/thread (I know you're there); please jump in and give me your thoughts/ideas; I won't bite (unless you want
me to - but that costs extra ).

I'll have one
No 750mc for me either - it may be locost but not quite lw enough cost for me!
£10 is a good price - profits/percentage of profits towards the site and camp out event perhaps? Or a Locostbuilders organised track event?
Would be cool to get all the crazy projects on here out on track together!

NOW YOU'RE TALKING!
The cap could represent the all embracing world of Locost and herald an event for every size and shape Locost in the UK.
Wearing a cap gets you into the event, apparel ticketing.
Sell them at £15 each and £10 goes towards hiring the venue.
Which track/circuit is the most central?
Recommendations for venues please - we need somewhere that will be accessible for the majority.
Who wants to volunteer to help me make this happen?

maybe a U2U to ChrisW - the boss.......
I'd certainly support a track event, as long as its within say 300 miles of home.
EDIT: don't worry, he's like Chuck Norris and found you first

Aha ... Chris.
Would you like a cap?
Is there a track event - or just camping?

I've dropped imagineer a line about this. I'm sure it goes without saying that any use of the LB name or logo needs to be approved in
advance.
Cheers, Chris

I'll seek all necessary approval for any designs, regarding use of LB or any other recognised Locost brand, before any caps are produced.
Any more takers?

Vote for the logo - for the front of the cap ... colours to be determined after design is chosen.

All votes before the end of the week please.

The right one looks pretty cool, would definately go for one of them at a tenner. Definately not interested in the track day, too old, too slow, but
mainly car is TOO loud. :-) Regards Ray
To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy
