WTD: 12v motor
Anyone have any 12V dc motors knocking about?
I need a pair of motors about 1/4hp. Must be 12v... (around 150-200W).
Cant find anyhting anywhere for sensible money!

You won't, not new anyway. I was paying £85 for them from Crouzet, over twenty years ago.
Have a look on ebay for wheelchair motors.
Tell them about the bent treacle edges!

go ask your local mobility place.......
neighbour got a couple of complete chairs for next to nothing, as they couldnt be resold for some reason
motors were fine
I'd love to give my imaginary friend a great big hug,
but this jacket makes it impossible.

Ive got the rear axle/motor assembly from a granny quad if its any good to you ?
If someone can get it to you, its yours.
Picked it up to build an electric go-kart for my son but hes 12 now& nearly as big (or small) as me so probably wont ever get round to using it
now.

Thanks for the offer. I managed to find something on ebay that hopefully should do the job. :-)
