wanted ,some thick rubber
finally got all parts for new fuel sender to go in ,but i dont wanna cut the tank as it means draining cleaning etc.
I need some rubber big enough to go round the sender which is less than 100mm in diameter but i need it at least 5mm thick
does anyone have something suitable lying about or advise where to buy from

Car tyre cut up? Get a bit off Side of motorway?????

it will need to be viton if it is in contact with fuel can you use an O ring? BS Standard size section would be 5.33 If you know what diameter you
need send me a pm and I may be able to help.
Phoned the local ramblers club today, but the bloke who answered just
went on and on.

I can get some insertion rubber or NEBAR (cork type) jointing material, which is gasket material to automotive sorts!

You having a giraffe...like im going to stop at side of motor way and cut a tyre up...

i need it to be internal of 72mm up to 75mm would be fine ,let me know if you could ,would be great
